To all eligible bidders:
The DepEd, Baguio Teachers Camp, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC0, invites suppliers/distributors of construction supplies to apply for eligibility and to bid for the hereunder requirement:
Name of Item: Procurement of Construction Supplies/Materials with an Approved Budget for the Contract of PHP3,935,605.21
Location: DepED Baguio Teachers' Camp, Baguio City
Brief Description: Supply and delivery of various construction supplies/tools and equipment for the identified NCCA Cottages including supplies per approved 2009 APP for the Engineering and Physical Facilities Section.
Delivery Period: Within thirty (30) calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed.
Prospective bidders should have experience in the supply and delivery of construction materials, tools and equipment within the last two (2) years with an amount equivalent to the ABC. The Eligibility Check/Screening as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids shall use non-discretionary "pass/fail" criteria. Post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid shall be conducted.
All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, pre-Bidding Conference, Evaluation of Bids, Post-Qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R.A. 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulation (IRR).
The schedule of BAC activities is as follows: 1. Issuance of Bid Documents - September 5, 2009 2. Pre-bid Conference - September 14, 2009 at 10:00am 3. Opening of Bids - September 28, 2009 at 10:00am 4. Bid Evaluation - September 29, 2009 5. Post-qualification - September 30, 2009 6. Notice of Award - October 2, 2009
Bid Documents will be available to prospective bidders upon payment of a non-refundable amount of PhP1,000.00 to the Cashier, Baguio Teachers Camp[.
The Baguio Teachers Camp assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of their bids.
